Volunteer Program

The Kentucky Center has over 500 active and friendly volunteers who contribute tens of thousands of service hours each year.

Kentucky Center Volunteers are the first persons patrons see when they arrive, and the last they see as they leave. They are well-trained and knowledgeable about the Center and the events we have to offer.

Although all Volunteers are special, we have several exceptionally giving persons who have taken special training to be a part of the Center's Accessibility Services. These include Audio Description for patrons who are blind or have low vision and Captioned Theater for patrons who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Group of VolunteersThese programs take boundless amounts of time and energy and we think these Volunteers are very special.

If you have a few hours a month and you would like to spend some time with us, you may e-mail us or call the number below and we will be happy to add your name to our mailing list for the next "New Volunteer Training."
